Business Sustainability Manager - Integration & Impact Management to Saint-Gobain Distribution Sweden
We are looking for a passionate Business Sustainability Manager to integrate sustainability into our strategy and operations. This role is key for driving sustainable growth, managing environmental and social impact, and enabling collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
The group Saint-Gobain Distribution Sweden includes Bevego, Dahl, Kakelspecialisten, Konradssons Kakel, and Optimera. About the Role
As Business Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for implementing group-level and company-specific sustainability strategies. Acting as a strategic business partner, you will coordinate cross-functional sustainability initiatives and establish efficient processes to measure and visualize sustainability impacts. You will also represent the company in sustainability matters, both internally and externally, ensuring that our sustainability efforts align with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies at both group and company levels.
- Align sustainability goals with business priorities to drive profitable growth.
- Facilitate sustainability initiatives across departments and engage stakeholders internally and externally.
- Collaborate with other companies within our group to drive shared sustainability solutions.
- Set up systems for monitoring sustainability performance, including greenhouse gas emissions and other key impact metrics.
- Visualize and communicate progress effectively through data-driven insights.
- Train key internal roles and external stakeholders to build sustainability expertise and awareness.
- Manage internal networks of sustainability champions to drive a culture of responsibility and innovation.
- Represent the company in external forums and customer/supplier meetings on sustainability topics.
- Serve as an internal advocate for embedding sustainability practices across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills
Personal Attributes
- Communication: Strong ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and inspire change.
- Organizational Skills: Structured, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality results.
- Collaboration: A team player with strong leadership and partnership-building capabilities.
Experience and Competence
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience in sustainability management, business development, or controlling involving financial/non-financial performance metrics with advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Excel or Power BI.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects in international and cross-functional environments.
- Sustainability Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, biodiversity, climate change, or related topics is an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, or a related field is an advantage.
- Language: Fluency in both Swedish and English is required.
